Quite probably there is a more elegant solution, but this works. ds9 (SAOImage ) - astronomical visualization application from SAO FITS Liberator - a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop for manipulating FITS format images. Use you favourite editor to attach these lists to each other. This will then give you a list of the RA, Dec of the same sources. If you want to match this up with the 2MASS sources then you have to "list regions" again, but this time select "fk5" as the coordinate system. This will give you a list of x,y coordinates. From this, select "x,y" for the format and "image" for the coordinate system. Another dialogue box will open asking you to select the format and coordinate system. Then, in the main image window open the "Regions" dialogue and select "List regions". It provides for easy communication with external analysis tasks and is highly configurable and extensible via XPA and. DS9 supports FITS images and binary tables, multiple frame buffers, region manipulation, and many scale algorithms and colormaps. If you are running DS9 and saoimage at the same time, then you must be in 8 bit. SAOImage DS9 is an astronomical imaging and data visualization application. DS9 runs in both 8 bit and 24 bit environments, but saoimage is restricted to 8 bit. However, the overall time to finish rendering should almost be the same. From the "File" dialogue, select "Copy to regions". So with saoimage and ximtool, you see incremental progress, where DS9 will render the image all at one time. When you load the catalog you should see a window open entitled "2MASS Point sources" which lists all the sources in your image. Is what you are asking - how do I get the x,y coordinates of these 2MASS sources in my image? Or do you wish to know what the x,y coordinates of the actual sources in your image? If the latter then you will need some other software like Sextractor or DAOphot to do source-searching and parameterisation in your image. When you load the 2MASS catalogue, SAOimage is able to use the RA and Dec in the catalogue to calculate the x,y positions of the catalog sources in your image (and marks them as green circles). OK, it seems to me that what you have is a fits image (from where?) that has some world coordinate system information attached. By contrast the Ecosport, developed and built by Ford’s Brazilian arm, was off the pace in almost all areas, even costing more to buy despite looking and feeling cheaper. With its higher-quality finish, roomier interior, more grown-up driving dynamics, greater style and lower price, the Renault was the runaway winner. There was no real contest when the Captur went head-to-head with the Ford Ecosport in September 2014. Yet despite these strengths and a practical interior, the Renault had to give second best to the C4 Cactus, which was more characterful and comfortable, and featured a quirky design that helped it stand out even alongside the handsome Captur. When we tested the revised Catur in September 2017 we praised its style, generous standard equipment and refined and responsive engine. Both cars easily had the measure of the Nissan Juke, which was found to be cramped, uninspiring to drive and hobbled by a high asking price. The Renault couldn’t match the Mazda’s engaging driving dynamics or high quality finish, but it was every bit as practical and had fractionally lower running costs. When the Captur met the then-new Mazda CX-3 and recently facelifted Nissan Juke in July 2015 it finished as a close runner-up. Mazda CX-3 vs Renault Captur vs Nissan Juke However, neither has the style, personalisation options or elevated driving position of the Captur. Both the Ford Focus and VW Golf feel more grown-up on the move and feature a little more space inside, plus there’s a wider choice of engines. If you don’t necessarily want the rugged visual appeal of an SUV, then there are some accomplished traditional family hatchbacks to consider. While it’s reasonable to drive with decent engines, it looks and feels cheap inside and isn’t as comfortable as most rivals. You could also consider the Ford Ecosport, but we wouldn’t recommend it. But it’s disappointing to drive and not refined enough. The Vauxhall Mokka of the same era is another option, because it’s decent value second-hand and has a spacious interior. Other Captur rivals include the Peugeot 2008, with its frugal engines, smart lines and practical interior. Luxurious Signature spec gets leather trim, upgraded hi-fi and a rear parking camera. Petrol engines are popular and will be the best option for most buyers, but don't ignore the diesels – they're good value. In March 2015, a manual-only 108bhp version of the 1.5 dCi engine (dCi 110) was added to the range eight months later the special-edition Iconic trim level arrived, with part-leather trim and a two-tone exterior colour scheme as standard. Initially there were Expression, Expression+, Dynamique Media Nav and Dynamique S Media Nav trim levels, but in October 2014, a range-topping Signature variant was added, available with all engines. Engines included 0.9-litre (TCe 90) and 1.2-litre (TCe 120) petrol units, or a 1.5-litre diesel (dCi 90). The Captur reached UK showrooms in July 2013. The quality of the interior trim wasn’t up to the best in the class, but it was well-equipped and comfortable.Īs a used car, the Captur isn’t the most exciting thing to drive, but it’s competent, safe and rides bumps well. Inside it was surprisingly spacious, while features such as a sliding rear seat gave it extra family-friendly appeal. Sleek design helped it stand out from the crowd, as did personalisation options such as two-tone paint finishes. Based on the same platform as the fourth-generation Clio supermini, the Captur is a compact crossover that sits higher and has more interior space than traditional small hatchbacks. The first-generation Renault Captur proved to be one of the French manufacturer’s most popular models when it was new – and with good reason. ‘Strange winds’ can blow out your torches, though, so you have to be careful when exploring. Healing is possible with magic spells by walking around (HP gradually recovers with every step), or by visiting a healer.Įxploring dungeons is similar to previous Ultima games, with the view switching to a first-person perspective, and you need torches or light spells to see where you’re going. You can resurrect dead party members, but it costs a whopping 500 gold pieces, so is mostly out of your reach during the early part of the game. If a character’s Hit Points (HP) drop to zero then they’ll die, which you need to avoid wherever possible. You can’t run from combat either, so if you’re faced with an overwhelming attack then you have no choice but to deal with it. The number of enemies you have to fight in each battle is random and some enemies are tougher than others. Combat is turn-based, but with time limits, and takes place on a separate battle screen when you encounter enemies in the overworld. It’ll take a while, and hundreds of battles, before you get a ship, though. Once you’re (finally) into the game the aim is survival, gaining experience and levels, and acquiring a sailing ship. So it’s worth getting right, or you may end up re-starting after painting yourself into a corner. If you create an unbalanced party then it can cause you problems later on down the line. These restrictions mean that the setup process can be problematic for new players, so it’s probably best done with a guide to explain how to create a balanced party. The game allows you to choose between eleven different character classes (Cleric, Druid, Wizard, Alchemist, Illusionist, Thief, Ranger, Lark, Paladin, Barbarian, and Fighter), each of which have their own strengths and weaknesses, and can only equip certain kinds of weapons and armour. In the character creation menu you can create up to twenty different characters and store them in a roster, from which you choose your four party members. In Ultima III you’re controlling a party of four characters and must set them up and equip them all individually, which can be a finicky and time-consuming process for first-timers. That’s the version I’m showing here, plus I’ve also shown a few screenshots of the original CGA version at the end of this set, just for comparison. Thankfully – like there is for Ultima II – an enhancement patch exists, by The Exodus Project, that is well worth setting up if you want better graphics, music, new features and bug-fixes. The original MS-DOS version of Ultima III: Exodus was first published by Origin Systems in 1985 and features four-colour CGA graphics. They can identify one item as a fraction of a group of items. The carbohydrates are divided into monosaccharides, disaccharides, and polysaccharides. Such self-tests make students excited about the topic. Calculating how different foods carry specific amounts of carbs that impact our blood sugar level is also one of our learning objectives. Luckily, we've got a solution to this problem. Therefore, it feels abstract to think we are consuming carbs instead of pasta. We cannot see sugars, starch, or fibers lying on our plates next to meals. The structure and digestion of carbohydrates could be tricky for teachers to teach and students to understand for the following reasons. This makes students nervous, but no need to worry we've curated five ways to make carbohydrates a more approachable topic.įoods rich in carbohydrates (Image Source) Why carbohydrates could be tricky This glucose plays a vital role in cellular respiration, releasing ATP, which gives us the energy to do everyday activities.Įach type of carbohydrate has a distinct molecular structure and mechanism of digestion. Carbohydrates are present in various food items, including but not limited to fruits, vegetables, pulses, cereals, etc.Ĭarbohydrates are macromolecules that are physically and chemically digested by a series of steps to form glucose. Contrary to this, we cannot directly synthesize carbohydrates and fulfill our carbohydrate needs through food. Plant utilize carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight to make carbohydrates. Many students would be surprised to learn that carbohydrates include other molecules like starch, cellulose, and fibers. Most people know carbohydrates as "carbs" or "sugars," which help regulate body weight and maintain a healthy diet. The season two finale saw Cal's son Nate arrive at the warehouse he'd been hiding in with a loaded gun and a USB containing Cal's underage sex tapes. While Zendaya’s role in the show raised question marks given there were rumours her character might be killed off at the end of season two, Casey Bloys, Chief Content Officer at HBO, told to TVLine that the Emmy-award winner is ‘going to be in season three – it's hard to imagine doing show without her’. There were never any formal inquiries raised.' We maintain an open line of communication with all the guilds, including SAG-AFTRA. It’s not uncommon for drama series to have complex shoots, and COVID protocols add an additional layer. The production was in full compliance with all safety guidelines and guild protocols. HBO released its own statement in which it defended Levinson's set: 'The well-being of cast and crew on our productions is always a top priority. If I’m working long hours, Sam’s working twice as long, Zendaya’s working three times as long. In February, Elordi also told Variety: 'Whilst you shouldn’t suffer, to me there’s great value in working hard. And they just care of us. I would love to play with more of that streak within herself.' 'She kind of got a little more evil and dark and serious, and not so frantic. 'There was a bit of Cassie that I got to play with when she started saying that she's crazier than Maddy in a scene with Nate,' Sweeney previously told Variety. On what fans might see from her character in season three, Sweeney noted that she'd like to explore Cassie's dark side. But then it turned into this weirdly sensual, dangerous connection between these two characters. But when I read it, I thought that Cassie was getting killed off. 'It was just random and very in the moment. 'The hanging out the window, actually, was just me hanging out the window,' she added, recalling a car scene in season two in which her character sticks her torso out of the car window during a high speed journey with Nate. 'I thought that I was going to get killed.' 'I thought that was killing me,' she told Entertainment Weekly. Sweeney previously opened up about the fact she thought her character was going to be killed off in season two. 'Sometimes, things take on a life of their own, and they're not rooted in the truth, but it's OK because I know it's just out of passion and out of curiosity and all that good stuff. 'I've seen so many different things, and a lot of it is untrue, and some of it's kind of like mundane little things. 'What's interesting about this season is there are so many more eyes on it that even the news cycle has been so interesting to see,' she told Insider. While the mourning process has been arduous to say the least (seriously, what will we do without our weekly dose of Maddy’s mood swings and expertly-achieved cat eye liner?), HBO was kind enough to let us know in advance that season three of the show has been confirmed. HBO also deemed it the channel's second-most watched show since 2004 behind Game of Thrones. reported that Euphoria was the most-tweeted about show of the decade (to date) in the US with 34 million tweets. Day-Old Legend: The games do this a lot. Some skills allow the player to limit Fury use by certain percentages and amounts to pile on more hits. Cooldown Manipulation: The games' Fury Gauge denotes how many actions they can take in battle, with the character needing to stand still for it to refill (attacking expends Fury, moving prevents it from refilling). There seems to be a veritable revolving door of villains in this series. note Fellpool on Roak are essentially pointy-eared humans with tails, rather than having cat ears. Bonus Boss: This series is infamous for the amount of grinding you'll need to engage in if you want to stand a chance against them.To name just one example from each, there's Ioshua from First Departure, Dias from The Second Story/ Second Evolution, Albel from Till the End of Time, and Faize from The Last Hope. In the fifth game, you spend almost the entirety of the game on an underdeveloped planet, with sporadic periods in space. The third game has the same justification (the protagonist ends up landing on an underdeveloped planet in an escape pod, being rescued by the crew of a ship, then crash landing on another underdeveloped planet and spending a good amount of time there), but halfway through the game you return to "developed" space, and yet many of the protagonists continue to use anachronistic weapons. In the first and second games, this is justified by the protagonists being on planets protected by an Alien Non-Interference Clause. Archaic Weapon for an Advanced Age: The series likes this a lot.The in-universe chronological order is: The Last Hope (SO4), SO1, The Second Story (SO2), Integrity and Faithlessness (SO5), The Divine Force (SO6), and Til The End of Time (SO3). Anachronic Order: The events of the series as a whole do not happen in the order of the games' release and can be quite confusing if taken as such.Alien Non-Interference Clause: The Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact (UP3), introduced after the events of The Last Hope. That being said, You'll want every last level you can get for the Bonus Dungeons. For perspective, it's unlikely you'll be near 100 when you finish a game. The Last Hope drops it to 200 initially, but you can bump it back up to 255 once you acquire enough Battle Trophies. Absurdly High Level Cap: The max is usually 255.This series as a whole provides examples of: The first game is practically a Spiritual Successor to Tales of Phantasia where the battle engine is concerned.
